Bryan's volunteering journey
We asked Bryan a few questions about his time volunteering with VoNCon:
What have you enjoyed most about your time volunteering?
"VoNCon has been such a great learning experience so far! I'm loving learning the rules to different games and meeting so many different people."
Why did you decide to volunteer?
"I decided to volunteer because I was interested in learning the different board games along with expanding my knowledge on D&D."
Building confidence and community
Bryan's impact extends beyond just leading games. He embodies the spirit of VoNCon by fostering connections and reducing isolation through shared experiences.
Do you have any stories you could share about your time volunteering?
"So far I've met so many people. While volunteering I have been given so many opportunities to be independent and run my own games and D&D sessions, which has let me build my confidence while also meeting everyone and learning new things that I didn't before."
What does Bryan say to anyone thinking about volunteering?
"I would say they should definitely give it a go. It's great to try new things and board games are a great way to connect and meet new people."
